Joanna and Nate, I miss you guys. I think of you often. I love you, and I'm so lucky to have you in my life. Don't forget that after Africa there's Las Vegas!! :}
Hey, Africa Team! Today I was praying for all of you from Isaiah 61:10, "I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness..., may that be so for all of you as you reach out with Christ's love to those you come into contact with each day. Paul/Melody Wright
Thanks for the blog updates.
we will continue to pray for you. It sounds like the Lord is really blessing your trip. We leave you with this, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". It's good to get a fresh prospective on the lives of our African brothers and sisters. Uncle Ray and Aunt Carol
Hey guys,
I am so sorry that I did not write any earlier than this. Wow, your trip really has been amazing so far. I have been praying ever so abundantly for your safety - did not think to pray for the safety of the Africans themselves. I am so thankful that the Lord spared the life of the little guy your car hit. I have prayed for Jim that the Spirit would re-vitalize him. Real quick - I have to tell you all that I ate something in all of your honor last night - are you ready? ... I ate a worm! At the GBIM International Festival last night they had food booths from all over the world set up and at the African booth they had worms (about an inch long with little legs and a head with eyes). I can't believe I ate it, but I did and as soon as I did I ate a piece of cold meat to wash it (the worm) down. It was not such a bad taste - but the thought - well, you know. Take care and the Lord's strength to each of you. (Jo, your parents said your yard looks great!)
My love to you,
Tami
